David Smith has worked at Mercer Capital as a Senior Vice President in the Valuation & Corporate Advisory Services department since February 2019. Prior to that, they were a Principal in the Valuation/Corporate Advisory Services department at HSSK from 2003 until February 2019.
David Smith obtained their BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. David then went on to earn an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Houston, attending from 1990 to 1992. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the ASA - Accredited Senior Appraiser (Business Valuation and Intangible Assets) certification from the American Society of Appraisers in January 2007, as well as the CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in September 1997.
