Currently, Anan works as a Scientific Application Engineer at Merck Group, having previously contributed to the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology as a Bioinformatician, where they developed innovative software solutions for analyzing large datasets from next-generation sequencing. Anan holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Life Sciences from the University of Konstanz, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from The German University in Cairo.
