Andreas Evers

Andreas Evers is the Scientific Director of Antibody Discovery & Protein Engineering at Merck Gruppe, with extensive experience in drug discovery focused on therapeutic peptides, proteins, and ADCs since 2010. Evers has a strong background in computational chemistry, having previously worked at companies such as Aventis Pharma and sanofi, where significant contributions included the generation of in silico models and project management for early research activities. Evers holds a Diplom in Chemistry from the University of Cologne and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Philipps-Universität Marburg, and has coauthored over 30 scientific articles and 20 pharmaceutical compound patents.
