John Lee

John Lee is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the materials science and chemical industries. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Merck Group in Taiwan since October 2019, John also holds the position of Vice President and Head of Franchises for the Surface Solutions Business Unit. Prior to this role, John was the Country Lead for Merck Display Materials in China from June 2016 to September 2019 and led the Performance Materials - Display Materials Business Unit at Merck Group in Taiwan from January 2015 to May 2016. John's career began at Merck Display Technologies, Ltd. as the Director of Marketing and Sales, followed by a tenure as General Manager at Enthone's Taiwan Branch. John holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from New York University's Polytechnic School of Engineering, which was completed between 1992 and 1996.
