Tom Heuser

Tom Heuser is currently the Director and Head of Group External Reporting at Merck Gruppe, where they lead a team focused on external financial reporting and oversee the preparation of the annual report. They previously held various roles within Merck, including Senior Expert Group Accounting and Trainee in Group Accounting, and they served at KPMG Deutschland as an intern in multiple capacities. Heuser also contributed as a business report analyst at Baetge Analyse GmbH & Co. KG. Academically, they earned multiple degrees in business administration, including a Master of Science from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, and have been involved with EFRAG's European Sustainability Reporting Standards Digital Reporting Consultative Forum since 2023.
