Abbas Walji

Abbas Walji is a Senior Director in Discovery Chemistry at Merck, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Abbas contributed to Merck as an Associate Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Director of Discovery Chemistry Modalities from 2007 to 2015. They earned a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University at Buffalo and furthered their studies at Caltech and Princeton University, obtaining degrees in the same field.
