Alan Modlinger

Alan Modlinger is the Head of Global Investigations at Merck, where they provide legal oversight for compliance and non-compliance investigations. Previously, they served as Executive Director and Managing Counsel for Manufacturing Law and Employment Litigation at Merck, and prior to that, held various legal roles, including being a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice. Alan began their legal career as a Law Clerk for Judge John D. Bates and has also worked as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Counsel at Lowenstein Sandler PC. Alan holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Yale Law School.
