Albert Gilotti

Albert Gilotti is a board-certified toxicologist who has been a Principal Scientist at Merck Research Laboratories in Summit, NJ since 2008, specializing in pre-clinical toxicology studies and safety assessments for pharmaceutical registration. Prior to this role, Albert worked as a Senior Research Scientist and Study Director at MB Research Laboratories and as a Research Scientist at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. They also held the position of Plant Biochemist at BASF and have a robust academic background with a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from Lehigh University, an M.S. in Entomology from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. in Entomology from Penn State University. Albert is particularly interested in developing alternative toxicology assays and has participated in IACUC committees at previous institutions.
