Amanda Mann is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in materials chemistry and catalysis. Currently serving as Director at Merck since September 2014, Amanda has held various roles including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist. Previous positions include Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where Amanda focused on the catalytic properties of cerium oxide nanocrystals, and Research Associate at Indiana University Bloomington, contributing to the development of synthetic approaches for shape-controlled nanoparticles and organometallic compounds. Amanda holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Indianapolis.
