Amanda Welsh

Amanda Welsh is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the biopharma and pharmaceuticals industries. Currently serving as Director at Merck since December 2018, Amanda leads the US marketing team for the Cattle Business Unit, overseeing marketing and product management for multiple therapeutic categories. Prior to this role, Amanda held the position of Senior Director at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where leadership focused on delivering sales revenue for a key Multiple Sclerosis product and managing P&L responsibilities. Amanda's career includes notable achievements at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. as Director of Marketing, where a cross-functional launch team was created for a groundbreaking transdermal delivery system, and GlaxoSmithKline in various senior marketing roles. Amanda holds an MBA in Marketing from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and a BA in Microbiology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
