Amy Rayo is currently an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck, having previously held several positions at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, including Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist I. They earned a Master of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry from Cornell University, where they also worked as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant. Amy's research contributions include innovative applications for recombinant proteins and nanoparticles in cancer treatment and diagnosis. Prior to their roles in industry, Amy gained experience as a Research Assistant at Boyce Thompson Institute and an intern at Genzyme.
