Amy Weil

Amy Weil is currently the Director and Oncology Team Lead in Global Medical Information at Merck, where they have also held roles as Associate Director and Senior Specialist since 2023. They previously served as a Senior Medical Writer and Medical Director at AdMed, Inc. from 2017 to 2020. Amy completed a PhD in Chemical Biology at The Johns Hopkins University, focusing on nucleotide pool perturbations and HIV-1 replication during their graduate studies from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and a Wistar Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at The Wistar Institute in 2005. Amy earned a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Ursinus College in 2007.
