Ann Auma, MD PhD, is currently an Associate Director in Global Vaccines Strategy at Merck, where they drive innovation and patient-focused strategies in life sciences and healthcare. Previously, they served as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, contributing to healthcare system transformations and strategic developments. Ann has extensive experience in clinical trial management, having led significant projects on malaria prevention and participated in the Ebola vaccine trial in Tanzania. They hold a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Pathology: Immunology from Case Western Reserve University, alongside an MD from Makerere University and an MSc in Immunology and Immunogenetics from The University of Manchester.
