Anne Deitz is currently the Associate Vice President and Head of Epidemiology-Oncology at Merck, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this role, Anne served as a Sr. Principal Scientist and later Executive Director of Epidemiology at Merck from 2013 to 2023, and an Epidemiologist in Oncology Biometrics & Epidemiology at GlaxoSmithKline from 2008 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked at Shire Specialty Pharmaceuticals as an Epidemiologist in Health Economics, Outcomes Research & Epidemiology from 2011 to 2013, and had an internship at Wyeth in 2002. Anne completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2002 and is pursuing multiple advanced degrees, including an MS in Biology from Northern Michigan University and a PhD in Pharmacology & Toxicology from The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
