Ben Bell

Ben Bell, PhD, is a Senior Scientist II at Merck Research Laboratories, where they focus on Discovery Biologics. Ben completed a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Physiology at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they authored and coauthored multiple publications while conducting groundbreaking research on HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2. Prior to their doctoral studies, Ben earned a B.S. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and gained early research experience as an undergraduate researcher in the Catherine L. Drennan Laboratory. Additionally, Ben contributed to investigative projects during an internship at Ben Gurion University, exploring therapeutic options for Alzheimer’s disease.
