Benjamin Atkins

Benjamin Atkins, Ph.D., is a biotech patent attorney currently serving as the Director of Legal at Merck. Previously, Benjamin worked as a Patent Agent and Technology Specialist at Clark+Elbing LLP, where they prepared and prosecuted patent applications primarily in biotechnology. Benjamin's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from Harvard University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of William and Mary. Earlier in their career, Benjamin contributed to significant research at Harvard Medical School and mentored graduate students as a teaching assistant.
