Brian Long is an experienced Director of Pharmacology currently overseeing In Vivo Pharmacology for Oncology at Merck Sharp & Dohme. They possess a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in Oncology, Pharmacology, Biomarkers, Translational Medicine, and In Vivo studies. Brian earned a Ph.D. in Cancer Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics from Queen's University Belfast, where they also completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biochemistry. Prior to their current role, they were a Senior Principal Scientist at Merck Sharp & Dohme and held the position of Principal Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute. Brian began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
