Brooke Summers

Brooke Summers is an experienced process engineer at Merck, currently serving as a Specialist since July 2019, where responsibilities include leading change requests, supporting technical transfers for vaccines, and developing process simulation programs. Prior to this role, Brooke served as an Associate Specialist in Engineering, performing root cause analyses, collaborating with various teams to address challenges in cGMP environments, and contributing to the recruitment and training of new hires. Brooke began the career as a VBF Technical Operations IPT Intern at Merck in 2018, supporting the implementation of equipment modifications for varicella bulk production. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioprocessing Science from North Carolina State University, earned in 2019.
