Carly Johnson, MPH, currently serves as an Associate Clinical Research Associate at Merck since January 2024. Previously, Carly worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Piedmont from September 2022 to January 2024, coordinating drug and device cardiovascular research with the electrophysiology team. From June 2021 to September 2022, Carly was a Patient Care Technician at Emory Healthcare, and prior to that, Carly held a position as a Policy Research Intern at the State Innovation Exchange, conducting research on various topics affecting marginalized populations. Carly also worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Emory University, focusing on infectious disease trials, and as a Program Support Specialist at NT Lakis. Earlier career experience includes an Operations Team Member role at Wells Fargo and a Clinical Research Assistant position at Howard University College of Medicine, where Carly was involved in HIV/AIDS prevention efforts. Carly holds a Master of Public Health degree from Emory University and a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine from Howard University.
