Chitra Saran

Chitra Saran, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Merck, where they currently apply their expertise in pharmacology. Previously, Chitra held positions at various esteemed organizations, including Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, and completed a PhD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. They also earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Amity University. Chitra's early training included roles as a Research Trainee at ICGEB and the National Institute of Immunology, and as a Clinical Trainee at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
