Chris Boyce is a medicinal chemist and pharmaceutical scientist with 25 years of experience in oncology, respiratory, infectious diseases, and CNS. Currently, Chris works in Merck’s Discovery Pharmaceutical Sciences group, focusing on physicochemical characterization and formulation optimization of lead discovery compounds, while also contributing to neglected disease discovery teams. Prior to this, Chris served as a Principal Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute from 1999 to 2009. Chris holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a PhD in Organic Chemistry with a focus on Medicinal Chemistry from Scripps Research.
