Chunyu Wu

Chunyu Wu is a Senior Scientist in Protein Engineering and Biocatalysis at Merck, possessing over five years of integrated research experience in biology and chemistry. They are currently a PhD candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they have focused on drug mechanism of action studies, enzymology, and protein purification. Previously, Chunyu served as a Graduate Research Assistant, contributing significantly to peptide-based natural product engineering and training numerous students. They also held positions at Purdue University and Procter & Gamble, further solidifying their expertise in analytical chemistry and biocatalysis.
