Cindy Buffone is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biomedical sciences. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck since July 2025, Cindy previously held the position of Scientist II at Synthekine from August 2021 to July 2025 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine from August 2019 to August 2021. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage, as well as a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University.
