Craig Morea

Craig Morea is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Cyber Security at Merck, Morea specializes in engineering for cloud, application, identity, endpoint, operational technology, networking, and security operations since August 2023. Previously, Morea held significant roles at Splunk, including as Senior Director of Engineering, Architecture, Cloud, and Product Security, and collaborated with the CIO to enhance security strategies against threats. Prior experience at Symantec includes leading cybersecurity engineering and threat management teams, with a focus on strategy, architecture, and protection of internal and external assets. Morea's foundational roles include positions at HP, Worlco Computer Resources, and Astra Merck, coupled with ongoing education at Western Governors University.
