Daniel Vélez is an accomplished in-house counsel with a robust background in legal practice, including experience as a former federal prosecutor. Daniel served as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice and held various roles at the United States Attorneys' Office, culminating as the Deputy Chief of the Economic Crimes Unit. Currently, Daniel is the Legal Director for U.S. Government Investigations at Merck. Daniel holds a JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and is pursuing further education at Cornell University.
