Danielle Klafter

Danielle Klafter currently serves as the Sterile Filtration Suite Lead in Bulk Hib Technical Operations at Merck, starting in October 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Richard T. Clark Fellow at MSD, where collaboration with DAMKA focused on sustainable interventions for Sickle Cell Disease in rural Kenya, emphasizing health equity and social determinants of health. Danielle has held various positions at Merck, including roles in Deviation Management and Technical Operations for Live Virus Vaccines, and completed internships in Operations and Quality Operations. Additionally, experience as a Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rosenthal Research Group complement a background that began with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and earlier roles in education as a Mathematics Instructor and Counselor.
