David Rhee

David Rhee is currently the Associate Vice President of Translational Medicine, Head of Cardiology and Respiratory at Merck. From 2010 to 2016, David worked at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Cardiovascular Clinical and Research Fellow and later as an Attending Cardiologist. They held several roles at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2020, including Medical Director and Senior Medical Director, where David led early clinical development programs for Cystic Fibrosis and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. David was an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School from 2016 to 2018 and completed their MD/PhD at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan.
