Daya Patel

Daya Patel is a Senior Scientist at Merck, where they focus on method development for Monoclonal Antibodies and Nanobodies. From 2016 to 2021, Daya worked as a Scientist before advancing to their current role, applying quality-by-design principles and documenting release methods. Prior to their time at Merck, Daya served as a Research Assistant at Rutgers University, where they purified and characterized recombinant proteins for crystallography. Daya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, along with a Minor in Chemistry from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, and an earlier degree in Biochemistry from Middlesex County College.
