Deping Wang

Deping Wang is a Principal Scientist at Merck, where they have been employed since 2019. They served as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck from 2012 to 2019 and held positions at Biogen Idec from 2006 to 2012, including Senior Scientist and Scientist in Computational Chemistry. Deping's career began with a postdoctoral position at Yale University from 1999 to 2001, followed by a role as Senior Scientist at Rib-X Pharmaceuticals, where they focused on computer-assisted drug design of new antibiotics. They hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and have a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Wuhan University and Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, respectively.
