Ed Trautman

Ed Trautman is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leading global teams and initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Director at Merck since January 2005, Ed Trautman oversees a team of over 100 colleagues focused on implementing a Zscaler-based global zero trust program, significantly enhancing the company's security infrastructure. Prior to this role, Ed Trautman was Director of Cybersecurity Engineering, responsible for guiding the development of secure applications and setting security strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director for Windows and Virtualization, managing operations across 14,000 global Windows servers. Ed Trautman's career began in 1989 at Prudential Insurance as a LAN Analyst, followed by a position at Merrill Lynch as Group Lead for Enterprise Monitoring.
