Eric Sterner is a Principal Scientist in Biologics Discovery at Merck & Co. in Boston. They began their career at the National Cancer Institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2014 to 2018, and then joined Merck, progressing from Senior Scientist from 2018 to 2021, to Associate Principal Scientist from 2021 to 2025. Eric earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 2009 to 2014.
