Erik Knelson

Erik Knelson is a Senior Clinical Director in Oncology Early Development at Merck, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this role, Knelson served as Clinical Director and Principal Scientist at Merck and completed a Clinical Fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Their medical training includes an MD and PhD from Duke University, where they studied from 2007 to 2015, and they were previously an Internal Medicine Resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Knelson also held positions as a Clinical Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and was a Research Assistant at Davidson College.
