Erwin Abucayon

Erwin Abucayon is an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck in Rahway, NJ, where they innovate and develop high-throughput analytical techniques for drug screening and synthetic condition selection. They previously served as a Scientist II at the US Military HIV Research Program and held various research positions, including Science Research Specialist at the Industrial Technology Development Institute in the Philippines and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oklahoma. Erwin earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma, a Master's in Analytical Chemistry from De La Salle University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Western Mindanao State University.
