Hector Febus

Hector Febus is currently the Associate Director of Packaging Commercialization Manufacturing and Technology at Merck. Previously, they held the position of Staff Engineer at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where they designed and implemented primary packaging systems. As a Process Engineer and later as Senior Specialist at Merck, they led various packaging initiatives for small molecule solid dose programs. Hector's early experience includes roles at Eli Lilly and Company and Edwards Lifesciences, where they contributed to process and facilities engineering. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
