Isabel Perez

Isabel Perez, Ph.D., is an Associate Principal Scientist in Biologics Drug Substance Commercialization at Merck. With 8 years of academic research experience in tissue engineering and drug delivery, Isabel has also accrued 4 years in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on drug substance and drug product. Currently serving as the upstream lead for late-stage monoclonal antibodies, they manage process characterization, development, scale-up, and commercialization efforts. Isabel previously held positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb and has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills throughout their career. They hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University.
