James Goodwine

James Goodwine is an Associate Principal Scientist in Analytical R&D at Merck, where they focus on large molecule quality and analysis. Previously, they served as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Merced, where their research concentrated on the molecular aspects of fungal biofilm development, particularly in relation to Candida albicans and C. auris. James obtained a Ph.D. from Binghamton University, where they also worked as a graduate assistant and teaching assistant, contributing to various biofilm research methods and mentoring undergraduate students.
