Jason Joyner

Jason Joyner is a Senior Scientist at Merck, specializing in infectious diseases and vaccine research. They have over eight years of experience in immunology, molecular biology, and various biological research techniques, such as immunoassays and cell culture. Jason earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from The University of New Mexico and has previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they developed virus-like particle-based vaccines. They actively engage in collaborative research, producing multiple first- and co-author publications, and have strong communication skills demonstrated through numerous presentations at scientific meetings. Currently, Jason is pursuing a certificate in Managing Science in the Biotech Industry at Keck Graduate Institute.
