Jing Xu is the External Capability Lead and Senior Principal Scientist at Merck & Co., Inc., where they serve as the sole Analytical Chemistry Lead on company initiatives for external partnership evaluation and capability building in discovery and pre-clinical sciences, particularly within the Asia Pacific region. With extensive experience in the characterization of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for safety assessments and clinical studies, Jing has successfully led over 50 projects and contributed to more than 30 IND/IMPD/CSA filings and two NDA filings. They possess a strong background in various analytical technologies and have engaged in cross-functional interactions across multiple departments. Jing holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from New York University.
