Joe Parry

Joe Parry, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist in the Enabling Technologies Group at Merck, focusing on small molecule high-throughput experimentation. With eight years of experience in synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry, they specialize in reaction discovery and process optimization. Joe completed their Ph.D. in Organic and Organometallic Chemistry at Cornell University, where they also taught undergraduate courses and trained students in multistep syntheses. Prior to that, Joe obtained an Integrated Master of Chemistry from the University of Oxford, developing a thesis on the total synthesis of Incednine.
