John Ames is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the University of Maine. They have substantial leadership experience in oncology, hospital, specialty, and primary care sales management across a fifteen-state area in the West and Midwest. John has a strong record of developing talent and mentoring people managers, alongside direct account management experience, highlighted by their leadership of Merck's relationship with the Mayo Clinic. Their past roles at Merck included positions such as Associate Director and Oncology Customer Team Leader, and they participated in two highly selective year-long leadership development programs. John also possesses meaningful experience in managed care and brand marketing, along with expertise in market research.
