Johnny Bennett

Johnny Bennett is currently the Vice President of Discovery Chemistry at Merck, where they have held various senior roles since 2012. Previously, Johnny served as Executive Director and Site Head of Discovery Chemistry in Boston from 2012 to 2016, and Section Head of Medicinal Chemistry at both Organon and Schering Plough from 2002 to 2009. Johnny earned a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and a BSc with First Class Honours in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Heriot-Watt University, graduating in 1996 and 1993, respectively.
