Jon Patteson

Jon Patteson is a Senior Scientist in the biochemistry/biophysics group of Quantitative Biosciences at Merck, where they develop biochemical and biophysical assays to support screening and the hit-to-lead pipeline. They hold a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where their research focused on the biosynthesis of natural products and enzymology. Previously, Jon completed a research internship at Harvard Medical School, specializing in synthetic organic reactions for radiochemistry. Their skills include SPR, mass spectrometry, and various enzymology techniques.
