Lisa Capps

Lisa Capps is an accomplished clinical research professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in clinical trial management and oversight for vaccines, oncology, and neurosciences. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck since August 2015, Lisa leads clinical trial teams, oversees study execution, and manages operational tasks. Previous positions at Merck include Associate Director/Clinical Research Manager and Associate Director/Regional Clinical Project Manager, focusing on U.S. sites and Americas-wide studies. Lisa has also held significant roles at INC Research and Innovex, with a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and project management from earlier experience at PPD. Lisa holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Environmental Health from Texas A&M Health Science Center and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
