Lead Clinical Scientist

Lynn Hyde has extensive experience in the fields of neuroscience and clinical research, beginning as a Research Technician at NYU Medical Center from September 1991 to February 1993, where mu-opioid receptors were purified for laboratory use. Following this, Lynn held the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center from October 1998 to September 2001, characterizing the cognitive phenotype of older Ts65Dn Down syndrome mice and receiving a National Research Service Award training grant from the National Institute on Aging. From September 2001 to November 2016, Lynn progressed at Merck, first as an Associate Principal Scientist and later as a Principal Scientist, leading various drug discovery programs and developing high throughput pharmacodynamic assays. Since November 2016, Lynn has served as Lead Clinical Scientist in Global Clinical Trial Operations at Merck, focusing on clinical trial operations and medical monitoring for renal cell carcinoma trials. Lynn holds a PhD in Biobehavioral Sciences from the University of Connecticut (1993-1998) and a BS in Biology/Psychology from Union College (1987-1991).
