Maple Wang

Maple Wang is a Principal Scientist with a focus on analytical R&D for biotherapeutics, including gene therapy and mRNA vaccines. They began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Fudan University and East China University of Science and Technology, followed by experiences as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Delaware. Maple held the position of Senior Scientist at Pfizer from 2018 to 2021 before assuming their current role at Merck in 2024, where they lead biophysical characterization for vaccine programs. They hold dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance and Applied Chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology and are a Ph.D. candidate in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Delaware.
