Marc Levesque

Marc Levesque is an accomplished immunologist currently serving as Vice President of Immunology Discovery and MRL Cambridge Site Head at Merck since January 2022. In this role, Marc drives early immunology discovery efforts focused on developing therapies for autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, while also managing scientific coordination across various therapeutic areas. Prior to this, Marc held significant positions at AbbVie, including Senior Director, where responsibilities encompassed early discovery initiatives for autoimmune and fibrosis therapies, and Medical Director, overseeing early stage drug development. Earlier career highlights include partnership at Academic Partners for Medical Education and roles as Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and Duke University. Marc earned a PhD in Immunology from Duke University and an MD from Yale School of Medicine, complemented by a BA in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College.
