Mark Bailey is a biomedical engineer currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck, focusing on combination product engineering and device technology assessment. Previously, Mark held roles at Novo Nordisk, where they managed a combination product engineering department and contributed to device development in both cell therapy and oral biologic delivery systems. Before that, at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Mark was involved in the device development of subcutaneous injection devices for rare diseases, and at Pfizer, they worked on intramuscular autoinjectors.
