Mark Garrison

Mark Garrison is the Regional Medical Scientific Director for ID/Vaccines at Merck, a role they have held since 2016. In this position, Mark establishes relationships with scientific leaders and clinicians in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on infectious diseases and vaccines. Previously, they served as an Associate Professor at Washington State University College of Pharmacy, where Mark had a significant academic career from 1989 to 2016, specializing in infectious diseases and pharmacokinetic modeling. Mark also held the title of Professor Emeritus at Washington State University Spokane and has contributed to the education of pharmacy students through various courses and mentoring roles. They earned a PharmD and completed a fellowship in infectious diseases and pharmacokinetic research at the University of Minnesota.
