Mark Plezia

Mark Plezia is a Principal Scientist at Merck, recognized as an accomplished global packaging leader with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, package development, and testing strategies for pharmaceutical and consumer products. Before this role, they served as Associate Principal Scientist at Merck and held various leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health and McNeil Consumer Healthcare, where they managed global testing laboratories and developed strategies to enhance efficiencies. Mark began their studies in Packaging Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they are pursuing both a Bachelor and a Master’s degree.
