Markus Hackl

Markus Hackl, PhD, is a goal-oriented biochemical engineer with over five years of experience in protein engineering, including construct design, protein expression, and purification, along with developing analytical assays for protein characterization. Markus has held roles such as Senior Scientist at Merck since 2023, and previously served as a PhD candidate and laboratory manager at Rutgers University from 2018 to 2023. Prior experience includes positions at VTU Engineering, ANDRITZ, and various assistant roles at Graz University of Technology. Markus holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Rutgers University and multiple degrees from Technische Universität Graz, including a master's and bachelor's degree.
